new string twist

hey guys I just put on a new string on my matrix 380 , how many turn should I give my string , I gave it about 7- 8 turn and I'm about 1 inch off with my rail mark

On a new string i would keep mine off the brace line 3/4" n leave it cocked 30-48 hrs to stretch

I read in here some where you have to twist counter clock wise does it matter and if so what will happen when clockwise.

String can be damaged if unraveled by twisting the wrong direction.

Is your string a factory string or custom string from one of our builders here on the forum ?
