Good shot Mike!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Re: Pipsqueak Has Spoken !
When I was about 15 years old I shot a nice big buck in some heavy bush near our farm. My older brother had several German Shepherds he had trained to pull a sleigh. He took two of them and hooked onto that buck and yanked him out of the bush so easily we had a hard time to keep up, going around trees and pushing through brush.
You have dogs trained to sniff out a dead deer. Why don't you hook the three of them together in good harness and get them to drag your deer home? No kidding.....
