Re: Did lube
I hold all the arrows in one hand and spray the first few inches with silicone. It's fast and it works.
Some people just like stepping on rakes
Re: Did lube
Do you think there is any chance of affecting the carbon structure with lube. I know it's a stretch but I was thinking silicon spray might soak In?

Re: Did lube
I have a big jug of "Gas leak detector" and it is to thick to use on gas pipe so I fill my empty Woodys arrow lube jar with it for my arrows. I see no difference between the two except the gas leak detector glows in the dark.

Re: Did lube
Use acetone, and a rag to remove the graphics on the arrows. Wont hurt the carbon shafts and will greatly increase ease of removal. Using silicone after removal is icing on the cake. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Re: Did lube
I use the same rail lube I use on my crossbow. I also use the string wax.

Re: Did lube
I remove all graphics with acetone and follow up with a coat of carnauba car wax, then finally wiping them off and sllghtly polishing the shaft after they look to have a dry glaze ...
I have found this works pretty well for me and leaves no mess behind on my rails.

Re: Did lube
I use a rag target and my arrows are easily removed with 2 fingers.

Re: Did lube
I find it makes a world of difference if you pull the arrow out at the same angle it went it. Seems obvuous, but if you are stand shootig down over a distance, or uphill. The angle makes it impossible to pull.
The trick is to give it a quick jerk and then steady pressure and they slide back out

Re: Did lube
Ok I'll acetone the arrows and try silcone spray. Seems simple enough.
