Do I need to unstring my bow to change out each limb strap? Can I just remove and replace them one at a time with the bow still strung? Thanks for your help!
I would certainly unstring the bow to change out the limb straps. I understand it may be fine but I wouldn't even chance it.

I think I will unstring it to do the maintenance on the bow. My Matrix 355 doesn’t have any of the metal ferrel spacers. Just the regular straps with plain shoulder bolts holding them on. They are on the way thanks to awesome customer service from Excalibur!
Well I unstrung my Matrix 355 today. But I did notice that when it was cocked, something just didn’t look right. The left limb didn’t bend as far as the right limb. The tiller was definitely off! Well after inspecting the limbs, one limb was marked 80 and the other was marked 98! No wonder it looked weird when cocked! Called Dawn and she said geesh! She is sending me out new matching limbs so the tiller will be corrected! Guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer to shoot this bow. I can wait, the snow is piling up here!
I guess I could shoot it. When it’s cocked, the left limb looks like it’s broke! It’s that far off! I don’t think it would even shoot an arrow straight!
New limbs, I picked up the Deadening kit for $15.00 0ff of craigslist, new limb pocket bolts & spacers, TriggerTech trigger with a Red lever and the Charger EXT crank! This will be a keeper for a long time to come for me! Very sweet setup now if I do say so myself.
Well I finished my honey do list today so I finally got to shoot my new Matrix 355! This is a very nice and easy shooting bow! Big difference between this and the Micro 355 that I sold! This is definitely the bow that I’ve been seeking. It’s a keeper and pleasurable shooting Excalibur crossbow! I’ll give it a really good workout between now and next year’s deer season!
