I’m interested in being able to adjust comb height and length of pull on my 380 to get better cheek weld and be able to adjust for extra clothing for cold weather hunts. I have built up the comb with padding to get better eye alignment with the scope and have considered cutting the stock and rig something but haven’t got that far yet. The Assassin stock looks suitable but I prefer not to have a crank system involved. Anyone ever customize there length of pull or comb height?
Thanks
Dan

Re: Adjustable stock?
Two simple adjestments that made a difference to this tall guy was to grind the stock but flat and add a 1" recoil pad and second, simply add section of 1/2" pipe insulation to raise the comb.

Re: Adjustable stock?
Yep! I attached it with a 2” wide velcro from Ace. I found that the 2” wide velcro holds and conforms the best to the shape of the stock. I think the Velcro was $.80 from Ace.

Re: Adjustable stock?
Dan,
Here are a couple of options on how to adjust the cheekpiece height on the Matrix bows. You should be able to right click on the images and tell it to open in a new tab to see the original images. The Assassin stocks are more like a shell and unfortunately the cheekpiece does not adjust up and down, it moves front to back. I have started grinding down the ribs entirely on the cheekpiece and also have started omitting the side lock screws as I am making specific height spacers matched to the individual setup. If you want to pursue the way that I came up with you can PM me.
