Micro 355 bolt length

Post by Booge »

Ordered a left over micro 355 from Dave at Wyverns. Should be here Thursday. I'm going to order some black eagle zombies and dont want my spitfires sticking out past my stirrup. What length do you guys recommend.
Thanks Booge

16" with 110 grains in the snout, use 125 grain heads, and you have plenty up front if you want to use Lighted nocks on the tail end.

As dan said the zombie 16.5 and 110 insert with a 125 grain head is the best combination l have found.
The extra 25 grains on the head adds minimal speed loss but maximum foc also shoots pretty good on a windy day......the kind of day when deer rut.
Them short bolts need some weight up front.
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix, sapphire, matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs, leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.

I've used 15, 15.5, 16, 16.5 and 17 with no noticable difference.
Settlled on 15.5" for all my micros

I use 16.5 Black Eagles in my Micro 355. 110gr brass up front. Blazer vanes and the tail lights are Lumenoks.
I shoot 100gr mechanicals.
Works for me!!
