Changing string

Post by gerald »

I have an Exomax and am installing a new string. I don't know how far above the line on the riser the string should be. Would someone be able to help me? I know how to shorten or lengthen the string.

Do you have 2 lines on top of the rail close to where the string rest ?
If you do the string should be between them preferably closer to the one nearer to the trigger.

Keep it a string width below the line.

The lines on the Vixen , Phoenix , and Vortex are at 5/8'' and 1-3/8 inches........
The chart is WRONG......
If you set your brace at 1/2 inch you will be slapping the riser and looking for your string in the grass......
Just set your brace hight at 1-1/8 or so from end of the rail....
Also ,, What string are you putting on ?
VIXEN 2 , PHOENIX
