Woooowww Weeeeeeeeeee yohoooooo that's a big one !!! I'd like to know the score on that baby also. We've got major big Mule Deer here in Sask. but that one might take the cake.
Of all the hunting I've ever done, I repeat, of all the hunting I've ever done, Mule Deer hunting is by far my most favorite type of hunting. The amount of huge deer you see in shear numbers, and antler size, the type of terrain you hunt in, its just plain exciting. They are not the smartest deer on Earth, but that way No baiting is necessary. A good friend of mine currently holds the World Record Mule Deer shot with a compound bow in Velvet, I believe it scores 210 points Boone and Crockett, his son last year shot the number 3 Mule Deer in velvet, again using a compound bow. The way they do it, is they stalk these guys in their beds, then stand up slowly and shoot. Joe shot his right in his bed. Unfortunately 3 areas of the province have CWD and its mostly in Mule Deer. I guess that's what Mother Nature wants.

After I typed the above thread, I jumped in the shower, got thinking about it, and should clarify what I meant about "not the smartest animal". Mule Deer aren't dumb, their not as high strung as a Whitetail, therefore making them alot more approachable. The bigger Mule Deer are just as crafty as the wily old Whitetail, that's how they got to be the huge, like the one above.
Sorry if I've offended any Mule Deer.
