Thanks again for the suggestions. I just purchased 3M's Sanding Sponge with fine contoured surface. I will sand the shaft first and then clean the shaft with acetone later tonight. I am keen to see how it will work. Perhaps it is really so that the Legacy and SuperSlam have a finish which needs to be sanded.
I have now sanded and cleaned the shaft with acetone. I also used NPV Saunders glue again. Well, it did not work. It seems that epoxy works. So, I have to use epoxy to fletch my arrows. At least it is really "heavy" staff.
I have only used my Arizona once since I got it from bj. I used alcohol (not Scotch) to clean it and put the vanes on with Bohning glue which seem to be attached solidly.
