Does anybody use a camo scope cover? I am wondering if it is a particularly useful accessory, considering that my Vari-zone already has a matte finish.

Camo items are very useful. They've been known to work very well. They are like fancy fishing lures. They catch more sportsmen then they do wildlife.
A prime example is a camo knife, it really works well; if you put it down, you'll be hard-pressed to find it again.

I bought, just for laugh, the camo flashlight haven't lost it yet, but haven't used yet either, just show it as a conservation piece "has anyone seen my flashlight?"
A year or two ago, I saw a pair of camo "tong", real funny, the brightness of legs still stuck out

Since I have some Realtree camo cloth from an old pair of pants, I think I'll make my own scope cover, with some velco or hockey tape. That'll show those clever marketing tricksters! HA-HA, HA-HA-HA, HA-HA-HA-HA!!! [evil, maniacal laugh]
