Several years ago I bought a replacement steel prod for my old Powermaster from alcheminc.com. It's a quality piece of workmanship and has worked out very well. Shortly after I bought it I noticed that they quit advertising the Powermaster replacement steel prods, so I don't know if they're still available.

Highlight and copy the French post that you want then go to a free translation website and paste it, then push the button.

Yes, it is the bow part of the crossbow.

Jimbo,
If you can find an old Boy Scout Field manual it showed how to build a crossbow using a single leaf out of a leaf spring from a truck. Should be able to get one cheep from a junk yard. You would be recycling.

My grandfather and I made one when I was 9. It worked good (to good by my grandmothers way of thinking).
