Has anyone Chronographed a ExoMax? or Exomag?
We did:
Exomax=338.6fps @3' with a 360 grain arrow, 100gr tip.
Exomax=318.4fps @3' with a 360 grain arrow, 100gr tip.
So where is the 355fps and 330fps as advertised with a 360 grain?

I is getting 332fps with the 200LB Mag with 351-2 grain bolts and 334 -+1fps with the Max and 424gr bolts..check your Chrony....
The Advertised 360gr is off the The arrow decision chart on X-Cals web page. The 350gr is in the X-Cal brochure. We weighed the bolt w/head it weighs 354gr on the scale.
I don't think 4gr is SLOWING the bolt that much. Lynn
Mine turns in between 344 & 348 f.p.s. consitantly ! ,with a 356. grain bolt with 5" feather's. And 338 to 342 with a 365 grain bolt. But I had my rail tefflon coated that add's a few f.p.s., I will be going to a 450 grain bolt next week as our D.E.P. set that as the min. weight allowed to hunt with, I just found that out an hour ago . I dont think there will be a lot of diff. in point of impact out to 30 yard's and the K.E. will be greater though , the MAX does have a lot of power in that long power stroke!! GREYWOLF

Looped string 419gr. arrow crono 3'

As you can see the FFF string is faster on the CET and the Looped on the MAG. I dont know which one I will use on first day. Mag is stripped down with nothing but peep sights. Very light will use for the way back hunts. CET has all the works with one of Marks stocks also.
