I finally met Mrs.right-only I didn't know her first name was alway's
If its a fast flight string twist it till its about 1/4 inch above the scribed line on the rail.

If it's a New Phoenix and the guy did not change the string (black) its a Excel string it should not need adjusted as they stretch very, very little.

So does that mean if it is one of the new strings you dont have to set the brace height? Please explain-oh yeah I sighted in my scope today and shot 2 vanes off my arrows,I thought that was a lot of bull until today-traded my exomax for the phoenix and after shooting around 50 times today I'm glad I did-I'm a firm beleiver in shooting the same hole now, cant wait for deer season.

Yep, Quote in part only, Bill T. "First, in the last few months we've started putting endless loop strings onto our new bows to replace the old Flemish ones. The endless loop strings are not as quiet or as strong as the Flemish, but they are much easier to use as you just put them on and go shooting. No twisting, no stretching them in, no nothing. The marks on the deck are guidelines for setting up flemish style strings and are not meant to be used for endless loop strings. "

Thanks GaryL,
It is the black one do you think it is worth getting the fast flight?I chronoed it yesterday with a 360 grain arrow setup and it was 292 is that about right? only took 5 shots to get zeroed at 20 and 30 yards-that is no lie about not shooting at the same spot-Iam very confident with this bow now thanks for all your help.

big dog that reads about right in the fps, if you change to the FFF string you would pick up a few more fps and could set your brace height where it shoots the best for you. I am using the fff and have my brace height at 1 1/8" which I find is best for my set up....
I would get the fff and see what difference it makes....

Gerald,
it's not hard after you can't cock the max and the phoenix is a snap-I didn't even get to shoot the exomax but wish I would have-I'm telling you if you can't kill anything or target shoot with a phoenix something is wrong I'm not saying the max is a bad bow just to much bow for me and I got lucky enough to find some body willing to trade+some cash he added I hope he likes the max as much as I do the phoenix.Like I said not a bad bow just to much bow for me.
