Old age or what

Post by Maritimer »

You know you are getting older when you are ready to go out for the evening hunt and you can not find the darn truck keys. You can swear that you put them in the same place you have been for the last 13 years. Now you have everyone in the house looking for your keys while your starting to spin out of control. You have been out all day doing the house chores thinking about the evening hunt and now panic is starting to set in for now it is time to go. My 11 year old was thirsty (from all the searching I believe) that he decided to get a glass of water from the fridge. Low and behold sitting there in plane sight on the top shelf next to the butter my keys. I thanked him gave him a big hug and kissed the wife while I was rushing out the door. I had a great hunt saw a couple of small 2 points and 7 does, it is just so nice to be in the woods. I still can not figure out how my keys ended up in the fridge, I hope that it not a sign of old age just that I have to many things on my mind during hunting season.

The good thing about getting older is that I can't remember half the stuff I used to worry about!
