Aerial Maps

Post by BryanOney »

Terraserver.com has graet printable aerial photos of my area in Ohio. I do not know about Ontario, but it might be worth a try. My printer does not print them real clear, but I print them at work where we have a high dollar printer and they come out really nice.

Try this free application. It's a easy to use app that works off the Terraserver site. It saves the data to your hard drive so you don't have to wait to view it every time. Also lets you make any size printable map of your area.

http://maps.google.ca

Type in your address like this.. "london, ontario"

Once the map comes up click on the "Satellite" link on the top right.

You can scroll up/down left/right with your mouse until you come to your area and then zoom in.

I have logged on to Terraserver and found what I needed. They are not the clearest photos, but they serve the purpose for free.
