Hey guys i just bought one of these blinds from the BPS and i am having a heck of a time folding it back up!! I follow the instructions but as far as i'm concerned, they could of printed them in chinese because i can't understand them. I can't get the darn thing folded up.. Does anyone own one of these blinds and can idiot proof this procedure for me?> Any help would be appreciated..
Was a thread posted back sometime ago with pictures of how simple it was to fold back up. Sorry to say I can't remember whom posted it and can't find it in a search. Maybe they will re post....
thats why i bought a double bull i looked at several blinds at the local sportsmans warehouse and i couldnt get the ameristep to fold up either at all very well so i new i didnt want to fight it out in the timber good luck
hey gary i found the post you where refering to but the pics are gone. I then checked the doghouse web site for additional info, the site showed some better pics then the instructions included with the blind. I finally folded it up then tried two more times to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. Thanks for you help AGAIN
I have their Penthouse blind, which is very nice when it's up but is a pain for me to fold up. my son can do easily I do manage to get it eventually. I usually leave it up for the entire season. maybe if I took it down more often I'd get better at it!

Glad to hear you got it figured out,, the first time I tried to fold my doghouse up 1 1/2 hours
But it is a piece of cake now, I can have it down and in the bag in a couple of minutes ...
They work well though, first time I used it last year I had a 7 point walk with 18 yards of me...
yes , I got him

I have been useing mine for 2 years now , and the first couple of times I was ready to thro it out , the trick is too twist it as you fold it over for the last time ,then hold it tight and put it back in the shoulder bag , GREYWOLF
I Laughed my ars off reading your original posy Al... Sounds like me when I first got mine,, Sweating, cursing and persistance paid off for me... I did not get a video with mine

Very east to fold, that's why mine's set up permanantly!
Wonder why the videos never show the thrashing it against the trees, cursing, ranting, raving.....
Actually the thing isn't hard to fold, but if you don't do it often you tend to forget the "tricks" to twisting it up. Had mine out since spring turkey season and the critters accept it as part of the landscape now. I've had deer within feet of it, and never even looked at it. Now if a nice buck would just decide to eat at that end of the food plot!
Has anyone just set up the blind that day and shot a deer out of it or do you have to leave it set up and let the deer get used to it?
I take mine out and use it for the day but never seen a deer while I'm in it. The squirrels and rabbits don't seem to mind it though.
Thanks for all the response guys.. like i said i figured it out with a little swearing and cursing but none the less it's done.
peterp: Not me personally but i have a friend who set one up and three hourse latter shot a big 8 pointer with an inside spread of 22". Good enough for me
