If you're seeing scrapes you're in the right places, bucks made 'em! A scrape dripper that drips by day might get some action during legal hours.
During November and December the buck are always looking for receptive does. They might have to take some time out to eat and sleep, but if they scent a doe in estrous the eating & sleeping comes second. A lot of the scrapes get noctournal visits, but I just mixed up a batch of scents (buck, doe, and doe in heat) for a dripper to see what results it might bring. Hopefully if a buck thinks other deer are hitting his scrape in the daytime, he might just pay a daytime visit to check it out.

All I can say is you've found the spot. Put you're time in and you'll get you're deer.

WAIT TILL THE RUT BEGINS. On Tuesday Nov. 01, I nailed the biggest bodied 10 pointer, I've ever seen dead or alive, on my property. If the rack was more proportioned to its body, I'd have a booner on my hands. I stalked him with my rifle, not my xbow, to within 50 yards. I'll tell the story once I get all my pictures organized from my hunts this year.

this buck was in full RUT, with the neck totally swollen, but he made a fatal error not once but twice. That's all it took to down him. Be patient, big bucks make all their mistakes when in rut.
