flinger--what part of the state are you from? im also in va. ive had some good luck so far this year hunting in the urban zones. good luck

Thanks guys. I'm looking foward to our season opening and of being a part of this board. As I said in my introduction, I've hunted with a recurve for many years. I have no intentions of giving that style of hunting up. I'm just adding another weapon to the arsenal and opening up a new experience to be enjoyed. ....Taxman...I'm from Grayson County in the southwest corner of Virginia. Right on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pleny of acorns here this year and I love to hunt the oaks. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

That's the way it should be! Having the ability to choose is great! Here in Ontario we can hunt with shotgun, rifle, muzzleloader, vert. bow or crossbow(season dependant of course). Handguns being the only one we can't use. Oh yeah, welcome to the forum!! :D
