Mike that is great info. I love to read your posts. I learn something every time.

I have never thought of doing that.

I have come to notice in the area I hunt there is a section of fairly dense hard woods and in the middle stands a lone spruce tree tall and proud in a small opening and every year there is a scrape under the same branch.

Have you compared, lading maps over maps over the years even after taking dominate bucks that they travel the same lines?

They certainly do travel the same lines killshot. The rub lines are traveled not only by the dominate buck, but the subordinates as well.

By plotting the rubs on the photos it points out very long travel corridors that you might not be aware of.
