I just recieved my New 2016 Model Micro 335 back from CS at Excal where they repaired 2 stripped out holes in my rail. ( the two which hold the stock to the rail and were definately my fault ).

I also asked that my set of limbs be put thru their crono while there to confirm their speed compared to that advertised..... They were very close but to illiminate any questions or doubts, Mike went ahead and installed a set of limbs which went thru at 335.5 and 335.7 . Needless to say, I'm really happy and feel they went above and beyond...

I would mention that it was returned with the new bolts and spacers in the limb straps ..... Personally, I think Excal has spent alot of time and resources engineering the new riser, as well as the new strap securement system.

Being as I'm no where close to being an engineer, I feel very confident leaving them just as they have re-designed them, as well as the entire new riser....

We have been asking for and in many cases insisting, they do something to find the reason for limb failures. After a load of time and expense re-engineering and testing this new riser and securement system, as well as finding the possible overheating issue with some of the past limbs, they feel this set up is the answer :D

Until I see an above average number of issues with this new model, I'm more than happy to consider the matter closed and resolved...

I'm now seeing and reading where " superior engineers " who may in fact be sitting on a couch with computer at hand, re-engineering a fix that Excalibur hopefully has now resolved. :P

I sure hope this comes to a conclusion in the near future, as it's sure been going on for a very long time.
