Phoenix for my Dad

Post by BigUgly »

Went out today and bought my Dad a new Phoenix. I'm sure he'll enjoy. Got the scope kit and a soft case. Paid $920 hope that's not to high a price. May have got it a little cheapeer elsewhere but the place I bought it have very good servics plus I've delt with them for 20 years. Is there anything different between them and my 175# Exocet?

If that includes taxes and it's all decked out and came with "The Right Stuff" and scope package, the price is just a tad high, but in the ballpark.

Just to let you know, Archers Nook sells the Phoenix with Varizone scope and Right Stuff package for $775, with taxes that's $891.25, and BJ, who gives excellent service has been known to match or beat that price.

Then I think I didn't do to bad as this also came with the soft case which is worth around $35.
