Hunting the last weekend of Nov

Here in noerthern Ohio many people stop bowhunting the last week in Nov. Gun season starts roughly at the end of Nov. each year and the rut is really winding down. I find that I do not see as many deer, but I see the biggest bucks of the year during the last week of Nov. My biggest bow kill ever came on Nov. 27. I found some open scrapes in our fresh snow this morning. Anyone else have any theories on hunting the last week of Nov. Anyone ever try any rattling at this time.
