TRACER NOCKS

Post by BOB VANDRISH »

If you do a Google search for "Tracer Nocks",you will get info on several suppliers and an evaluation to read.
The claim is that they are functional in all kinds of light from early morning, mid day to evening.
I have never used them myself ,but they sure look interesting.
The battery life is about 24 hours.
A few of these would more than pay for the few arrows that we have all lost at one time or another!
On some models, you need to install a magnet somewhere along the riser to activate the light as it leaves the bow.
May have to try a few myself!

Will either of the tracer nocks for 2216 or 2219 alum arrows fit my gold tip laser II arrows.

Thanks Tar Heel

Warning

I have used a lighted arrow product from "Archers FLame" and you should be careful. On an older Horton Sportsman (150 lbs) that I have, they work fine and are ariot to watch. On my ExoMax, the nock shoved all the way up the arrow shaft and it was almost like a dryfire. Too risky for me (and yes, I followed the directions).

I was wondering the same thing. I did some searching on the internet, and as best I came up with is
.246 inside dia of aluminum .300 for Goldtip laser II
both are 2219 and outside is the same Maybe this is why they don't work. Don't know for sure
