I have hunted with an Excalibur crossbow since 2000. And I have been lucky enough to harvest my fair share of deer here in Ontario, Canada.
My first Ex was a Vixen and it did the job quite nicely! I now shoot a Exomax and love it! Good luck to all this season. SH
I have included some pic's of my past success.
P.S. The reason for the hunter orange in the 2006 photo is because I recovered that deer the next morning and alot of hunters around!

As I told you deer hunting is new experience for me and this is probably best place to learn few things about crossbow hunting. Best forum I ever checked!
Thanks for advice on the other forum.
