Not sure how many others are into waterfowl but it bridges the gap for me between turkey season and deer. I hit my kayak with a fresh coat of paint (it was red before) and just getting all my decoys rigged up and ready for this season. 7 days left now, not that I am counting.
That's just flippin'n awesome!!

What type of paint did you use Adam? I am having issues with keeping Krylon on without having it scratch off. Any advise?
I started it out by washing it with a scrub brush and plain water to get pond scum off it
2. Wiped it down with laquer thinner,
3. Sanded it with 100 grit
4. Another laquer thinner wash to remove any oils i missed the first time and platic dust.
5. First coat was Olive green Krylon for plastics.
6. Next coat was random brown Krlyon blobs to give depth.
7. Last was tan Krylon sprayed with marsh grass held up for a stencil.
Simple as that.
I plan on using it on ponds and smaller bodies of water. It will make a good hasty blind along the shoreline tucked in nicely. Im sure Ill also be retreiving with it as I dont have a dog, sure beats swimming out to get them like last season. My only issue is decoy storage. I dont think Ill be fitting many floaters in/on it. A trailer is in the back of the mind right now to haul my extras while on the water. An inner tube from a truck with a rope platform should work out and give me a little more versatility.
