computer & internet

Why is my computer running so slow and how do I fix this? Over the last two days, I have noticed that my computer/internet is running very slow. It takes much more time to load a web page and it often freezes for around a minute. I have tried defragging/cleaning up my hardrive, scanning for viruses and deleting stuff such as history and large files but nothing has worked.

have you used ad aware are spy bot I use both they seem to work good..good luck

HAHAHA be happy! Mine blew up over Christmas and I lost all my bussiness stuff and everything! On a old IBM Thinkpad that takes for ever to load till I get mine back. Oh well atleast we keep a spare laptop around for these special occassions. LOL

Not sure why you posted in this forum..........bottom line forget the the utility's and reformat your c:/ drive after you save all your settings and imfo ... :D

Download free version of CCleaner and use cleaner and registry programs at top left of home page. Don't change any settings or do backups when asked. Just let it run. Will get rid of a lot of crap and your box should run a lot better. Good luck.
