Shootin again Yahoo!!!

Post by strum »

I picked up an Exocet from a great friend last week..
This was a almost a complete bow just needed a few things.
namely the hardware to bolt the limbs on without Dbars.
Miller fixed me up and I put it together just im time to shoot tonight as the light was fading..
Here is what I love so much about Excals, this bow came partly disassembled, so I went ahead and took everything I could apart. gave it a good cleaning and reassembled it all. this scope had never been on this bow so I figured it will need a lot of tweaking. well first 20 yard shot bulls eye. next 6, bulleseye .or very close. I know ill be doing some fine tuning in the days to come but I would hunt with it right now. do that with a training wheel bow :D
Now for a quick taczone review.. I have heard a lot of negative about this scope..so I wasn't sure if i would like it or not.
I was shooting in very low light so i had to turn on the green. so dark in fact i could not see my arrows in the target with my naked eye. now im not saying this is the best optics i ever looked through but i have no problems hunting with it. that was about as dark as i ever would try a shot on a deer ..the only beef i have is i would like to have the light switch on the right side of the scope. its awkward trying to turn it on with my right hand..
I know this is a long post but..IM EXCITED!!!!
