She ruined my lucky "arra"!

Post by TPM »

My lucky arrow met it's end on target 12 at the 3D shoot today. :( Thank you to VixChix and her bow "Roadkill". Beware the mini-van.

A couple more memorable moments at the shoot today.
I shot high on this guy and caught a tree just in behind. This happens sometimes but the next shooter did the same thing with his compound and almost Robin Hooded me!

Also, our son, who has been tagging along on these shoots since he was in diapers, is finally coming into his own and getting the hang of it. :D

Nice where was the 3D shoot? Relatively new to this the club we are wanting join accepts crossbows they say but seemed apprehensive when I mentioned that's what I shoot.

The shoot was at Elmira Rod and Gun. No issues with crossbows there.

Good shooting I guess you'll have to find another lucky arrow. I love 3 D shooting we don't have any ranges close that will allow crossbows not even our own club range. They will eventually change their minds I hope.

I just went 2 weeks ago and got certified to teach archery in the school system here in N.C through the N.A.S.P. program. I'm looking forward to helping some of the Instructors out this coming year. The kids were really excited last year getting to learn archery at an Elementary level.
