Built a ground blind, Thwack! Will i find it?

Decided to hunt the ground tonight, I hastily throw limbs and branches to form a blind,


At 6pm I hear something walking my way in the leaves,
I get ready and out walks a nice doe from the right in the pic,
I put the crosshairs on her shoulder and fire!
Thwack I hit the limb I was shooting from,
I don't get a full power stroke but the arrow
hits her near the front leg. The doe runs away
and stops, I have puddles of bright red blood
where she stood. This has to kill her so I track
a little ways and decide to back out until morning.
I have 2 of my buddies going at first light with me.
I hope the yotes don't find her. I had no one who
could help me tonight. Will recover her in the AM!


These are the blood puddles and there were more but I marked them with tape. Will I find her is the ? She took my arrow with her and it looked like it was stuck above her front leg, it's sharpened on both side if it comes out or hits trees when she's walking.

A lot of variables play into factor, shot angle ,distance to me it sounds like you hit the leg bone ,is why the arrow stayed in or opposite leg , there's a lot of arteries an major blood vessels there an depending if it was alittle left or right depending on which way the deer was facing might have clipped the heart. In my 23 years of bow hunting I've hit two in that area an recover both ,one went only 100 yards with upper leg hit an lower heart clipped with a rage broadhead an the other I just clipped the lower part of the heart an he went about 350 to 400 yards before bedding down the first time an found him the following morning ,good luck this morning Wish you the best in recovering your deer !!!

I hope you find it, but i have followed blood trails like that and it would go to just a drop here or there. A marginal hit can bleed a lot and the deer still recover. Hope you find it

Deer went 70yds, found it right away. Great end to a ground hunt. I have to quarter it now.

I hit the leg bone and dead ringer 3 blade 2" cut shattered it, arrow is covered with blood. I must have hit an artery,BH just needs to be resharpened. I need to redo the ground blind so I can shoot without bumping a limb.
