micro riser

Post by edstuff »

So I have noticed the newer micro models have an updated riser. And I noticed that the new risers are being sold with the original micros as well. Should micro owners be looking to buy the newer risers? Is this even possible?

Don't worry, the issue was with the limbs on all bows.
If you are worried at all, leave your bow in a place we're it cannot be accessed by anyone but yourself and leave it cocked for a couple of days.

They just have a new program to cut the risers. Im guessing for weight and different look.
Not practical to cut three different Micro risers.

Interesting!
So some of the posts I have read from those that professed with certainy that any limb issues experienced were mostly as a result of inexperienced users or user error (ie Improper BH maintenance ) could have been a little over stated as such.
Which I always thought if it was that simple why would Excalibur not just communicated it as such!

Which in turn begs the questions
Has Excalibur identified the cause?
Does the extended period cocked (days) help identify suspect limbs?

Can one be now be comfortable going forward that the micro 335 with the new riser design would be a good reference point going forward from this point in time.?
( new 2016 production )
Especially knowing now by what you have stated that there actually was an issue identified with some of the limbs manufactured at some point in time in the past.
