Twilight DLX Scope Questions help please

I've noticed two things regarding my new (to me) Twilight DLX scope.

1. The red markers inside only work intermittently. Usually they do not work but the green always seem to function.

2. The outside of the sight picture seems blurry to me. I'm surprised in that this seems to be a fairly expensive scope.

Has anyone else noticed this and does Excalibur stand behind these scopes?
any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Try a new battery as the red goes first then green when battery going low. As for the blurry on outer edge this is norm. As with any hunting optic the old saying of spend more on the scope than the gun has some merit. Quality optics are not cheap - if you consider this expensive then you may want to consider a really expensive one like the Nikon Bolt, Leupold Cross Bones or Hawke Pro etc as a worthy upgrade. To answer your question on does Excalibur stand behind them - YES - for life just as it says. If you have concerns regarding the scope and feel it's not working properly, send it in to one of the warranty stations by following warranty instructions.

I will try a new battery thank you. I was only saying about the foggy outer edges that at the $299.00 MSRP it seems fairly expensive. I would hope that a 200 + dollar scope would at least have a clear sight picture. i see the Leupold Crossbones is about $260.00 on EBAY. May eventually pick up one of those. I paid $179 Canadian for my Nikon Bolt new and it is as clear as many scopes costing twice as much...

MSRP $299.00 is exactly that - suggested - nobody pays that for one of those scopes, they come in package 99.9% of time. As you will see in trading post they fetch $100.00 or so new when folks buy Nikon or Leupold to upgrade.
