Almost had a turkey in my lap

Had a great day scouting today. Went to my main spot in Pontypool and saw a bird in the field when I came in but he or she saw me first. Couldn't get a look to id. Bumped into a raccon twice within ten minutes within about 20 feet both times. I think he was getting a little miffed. Then moved to another area on the property and set up to watch and listen and a hen came out into the clearingand did some scratching around and stopped within 11 feet of me, looked at me and carried on feeding. I had camo on but just leaning against a small pine. Camo is good. Then went to another property near Lindsay to check out for first time and virtually tripped over three different groups of birds. Exocet is ready...I'm ready now!!! Bring it on!!
