Headed out for the 1st time this year.

Post by Moxie »

I'm climbing into my Packmaster this afternoon for the 1st time this year to hunt. I had knee surgery [arthroscopic] on the 23rd of last month and the knee has just started moving like it should during the past few days. I haven't wanted to take any chances climbing, even with the proper safety equipment, until I was sure my knee would function properly. Here's hopping I can add to the NGT Team score this afternoon. :D

Moxie,

I am glad that you are well enough to get out. Good luck today.

Us old crippled up, wore out hands just have to learn to be smarter than what we are working with. I have larned to climb the ladder rungs one at a time using the left leg, as the right one does not like the pressure. I still get up there, just not nearly as fast as I once did!
