The Phoenix and I were in my stand before sunup. Around 730am I saw this buck coming. He finally got in good bow range. I put the cross hairs of the scope on the boiler room, when his near leg went forward, I squeezed the trigger. The Phoenix said TWANG. The 100gr. Muzzy led the charge followed by the Gold Tip Laser 2 with brass inserts. The buck WALKED away to the road that gos around the corn field. When he got to the road he turned and ran.
I watched till he was out of sight, couple of seconds later I heard a CRASH.
I waited a while and began searching for the deer. I found it about an hour later, 75 yards away, in a wind break between two corn fields.
The shot was a little high because I used the 20 yard marker instead of the 10 yard marker , I think I was a little excited.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!
And don't be ashamed of using the wrong yardage marker, I've heard of others doing the same thing. Matter of fact, that's why I switched to a TenPoint Pro-View scope - less markers (only 3 crosshairs and they are all the same, so I have to stop & think!)
