I seen a bunch of deer this season, fawns right up to a 6 point. One 4 pt in the freezer and it felt good to back in the woods after a long layoff.

I connected with 2 , 6 points and missed a good black bear .Took 1 deer with the muzzle loader and the other with my exocet from the ground .

Seen a good number of other deal including a couple really good bucks but could not seal the deal on them . Good year over all .

2 bucks so far, 11 point (gun) 6 point{phoenix}; still have 2 doe tags left and can hunt until feb 28 { Arkansas}; hope to fill both tags before end of season; then start hunting turkeys in march; will hunt 5 states for those "thunder chickens" this year!

May all have a blessed 2010

Passed on 18 to shoot my one and only that's allowed in this zone of the state. Albeit a 130 P&Y point ten. But I learned some new tricks about where they are when that will serve me well next year. :D

An average season. I bagged six. A 5pt and two doe with my Exomax, two doe with my compound bow and a nice 9pt with my muzzleloader. For the first the first time in a few years I did not fire a shot with a rifle. Doe season is open until the end of March so I may punch a tag for some jerky meat.

My 2nd year bowhunting and I filled 4 additional archery tags with my phoenix...2 does, 1 fawn and a spike buck.

I hunt 2 properties...one was almost void of deer(my producer last year) and on the new property I had 4 different stands that each produced 1 deer for me.....this was very rewarding.

I hunted very hard with over 90 "sits" in the stands for the season. I have a great supply of venison to last me until next October...I do not buy any beef ever.

Was out til the end last night holding my original tag(buck only).....at 5:30pm(legal time over) a nice buck approached my stand. This was a great way to end the season with this sighting and I am glad to boil my last tag as it allowed me to hunt to the very end!!!

All the best to the forum in 2010!!

My son and I filled our three tags early.

He took a nice 8 point Oct. 1, I dropped a doe Oct. 14, and a 6 point during the first week of Nov. gun season.

Then we spent time chasing ducks and geese, something I haven't taken the time to do in years. We had one phenomenal goose hunt over corn stubble that was just a riot of wings and feathers. If I remembered how to shoot, we coulda had tons, but, four geese is enough for dinner.

Had a blast with family and friends.

In Michigan we can buy a combination tag. One buck any size and one buck with 4 or more points on one side. I filled both tags and got the biggest one with the Excalibur.

Overall, I seen fewer deer but also saw more bucks than ever!
Keep smiling!

I only fired my bow once this season. On opening day.. and filled my tag.

Spent the rest of the season hunting birds with the old man. Lots of fun :D

Good year . . .filled my tags in Virginia. However, took nothing in Georgia, yet. :)

No doe tag------hunted all of October----all I saw was antlerless.

Then first day of rifle season--my Son and I both shot Bucks at our place.
He got his in A.M.-----and I got mine in P.M.
Choice meat ---4 pointers---look good in the freezer.
Since there were no extra tags in our area we were done. [63A].
