ezzzzzzzz. I'm from pittsburgh and I help pay Sids bills. It was a great match up. Glad it was Canada vs USA rather than some other country. See you in 4 years
Re: i hope you guys hunt better than you play hockey
VERY GOOD HOCKEY! No matter who won, it was a golden game. Both teams played fantastically and either one could have gone home with gold.
It was a fabulous, nail-biting, heart-attack-inducing hockey game, and I'm not even a hockey fan!
I'm also not a Canadian.
I've lived in Canada since '73. I love the land, but I never had any desire to become a Canadian.
Canadians seemed to stand for mediocrity at best. Being a proud American I always felt that right or wrong at least American stood for something. And Americans always showed a pride that Canadians just didn't express.... (unless it came to their coffee... )
BUT, these Olympics have birthed a new breed of Canadian. Canadians everywhere are on their feet and standing for their country with the whole world watching. They are loud and they are proud. It didn't matter how many medals or who won the game - they are waving flags and singing the national anthem at the top of their lungs. Canada has come of age!
For the first time, I'm proud to say with David, I AM CANADIAN... even if I'm not. Yet.
I've bought the mitts, I'm flying the flags on the van, and I'm ready to get the paperwork started.

Very fitting that It came down to these two at the end. And way to go Canada!!!
But, it was almost USA's gold. They have shown that they have mastered "Canadas game"! Next time we may not be so lucky.

If it's your game how come the NHL is a U.S.A. organization and all Canadian hockey players strive to come here to play in it?Pydpiper wrote:Just watched the game, I understand that the USA wanted to win, but let's face it, IT'S OUR GAME!

You can kick, scratch, whatever makes you sleep well. The proof is in the score, we rule, you suck.(Insert smiley face here).
Truth be told, Canada kicked ass, they hung their best game out with the rest of them, in the end, they wore gold.

Better exchange rate, and less competition. Paid more, and not have to play as well. Why not let you guys pay us to do that?? The Free Trade Agreeement has to benefit us ONCE in a while....lol. Good game though...GO CANADA!If it's your game how come the NHL is a U.S.A. organization and all Canadian hockey players strive to come here to play in it?

Would liked to have seen a game 3. Canada deserved to win the overtime. We came out and played terribly that period. When you only have one major sport in the country you should be the best at it.
