I am sick of loosing turkey. I've stuck 2 this year and lost both. they fly imediately on impact. hear them crash and after an extensive search can't find them. finaly got one with the flintlock smoothbore. I think I've take my last shot on one with a bow. both shots on the birds were under 20yds and I am of the opinion that the only shure shot on a turkey is with thier back to you and hit them in the spine. I know nothing goes to waste but I hate loosing an animal
I only use the the 125 gr 2.75" cut and have never had a turkey go more than 7-8'. The majority have died were they stood. Accuracy is excellent with these bh's. You won't be disappointed.
I lost a fall bird last year only to find the feather's the next day But this spring I was lucky to connect with a tom at 30yds plowed field I hit him where the wing connects to the body and he didn't flinch!!
The only other bird I harvested with my crossbow was a jake a few years back and I spined him and he also didn't flinch.

I haven't tried these but I have a friend who hunts turkey with his compound bow and he uses them exsclusively with great success.
He won't even consider any other broadhead for turkey.

well, 1 was pinned to the ground but got loose before I got to it and flew off, and the second one the arrow fell out just as it took flight. will take a look at the heads mentioned above. let's face it, I suck when it comes to turkey with a bow
Gary, the shot was at 19yds, was using the type of head that impeads penetration. the fletch was inside the bird with the rest of the arrow sticking out.
