I could not find any bi-pods around town so I made my mine from 6 foot plastic coated steel tubing garden stakes (cut to my height) available at Canadian Tire and other garden centers. You can find many online links Googling on how different people made theirs using these garden stakes. Here are two random examples:

.....just an option. Works well with my Equinox when sighting in.

Re: Mono-Pod or Bi-Pod / which brand ?
hello!
i copied this from an older posting, maybe this is an option for you if you like to do some handcraft
the bipod i use is a versapod. with this pod you can still cant to keep your bow horizontal and you can move it to the left and right in a ~45 degree angle.
it comes with a adapter for the shoulderbelt swivel or different mounting rails but instead of mountig the massiv block of plastic (when you use this standard adapters) i reduced the block, removed some plastic in the foregrip until it fits.
now just the pin is sticking out:
i can still use the swivel for attaching a shoulderbelt, the only disatvantage is that ,if you have mounted something in front of the pin you have to remove it before you can release the bipod.
i put a thin felt slice on the pin so the bipod can slide less up and down the pin and to reduce noise.
with the short versa-pod you can also flip the bipod foreward, it does'nt distract cocking, the stirup is still free.(when telescope legs are slide back in).
cheers

Re: Mono-Pod or Bi-Pod / which brand ?
I have the rail from the Excalibur Tac Pac already on my crossbow and am thinking of purchasing the Cross Pod later on. Is there a longer bi-pod that attaches to the rail?
Thanks,
Raymond

I made a mono stick, it also allows you to prop it on your hip for steadier aiming. I also made it slide in and out of a spare quiver bracket so it can be detached quickly.

I use this one: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/730186 ... o-43-black
It uses an adaptor on your front sling swivel stud The bipod is adjustable for length snaps on and off. You can swivel the bow left and right. You can buy additional adaptors so it can be used on other crossbows or rifles

Hey Darrel,
It looks like a nice Bi-Pod. I like the point the it swivels left and right.
