Secret mighty-buck bird seed.
Actually, I've been putting a bit of corn out and made up a shed trap in hopes of getting his rack.
It took him about 20 minutes to make his way out of the bush to the feeder. That's a distance of about 30 yards. He is so leery of any noise and is constantly smelling the air.
A train came along and he bolted.

Just the fact that he has come in during daylight hours is quite a feat.
I know in bear hunting the little guys always came in during daylight and the big guys stayed back until dark or almost dark.
Maybe this one is getting there before the "big guy" does..
Great pictures. It must be pretty entertaining for you. About all I ever see out my back window is a few does and fawns.

TAC,
These pictures just get better and better, That bird feeder will be worth it's weight in gold. When word gets out, as to the size of bucks it attracts.
Thanks for sharing these pictures they have reminded me why I have always thought that there isn't one buck in Texas , that can come even close to the great northern Whitetail.
Regards MiB

Great pictures TAC on all your posts. It is nice to see how your putting this area on the map. I hope you get those antlers as they will be as much of a trophy on their own.
Once they get a taste for the corn he should keep coming in as he is trying to put weight on again after the rut.
Keep the pics coming , they are refreshing
