Just looking for a soft case for my mag 340. What would be better: the Octane crypt case or the new Tomb case?
Anyone with first hand experience with one or both? TIA

Re: Soft case for Mag 340
I use a 28" Savior case to carry my Axe. I take out the riser bolt and put the riser assembly in one compartment and the stock section in the other. It works good for me because I can put the case behind the seat of my pickup. Also have plenty of extra room for quiver, arrows, spare limbs, strings, and rangefinder and anything else I might need..

I don't have these cases, butbcbuckblaster wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 10:55 pmJust looking for a soft case for my mag 340. What would be better: the Octane crypt case or the new Tomb case?

the Octane Crypt case is listed as Micro case.
the Tomb case is listed as a TwinStrike case.
the Tombstone case is listed as a Matrix case.
the Ex-Shield case is listed for both Matrix & Micro.
I would think the Octane Crypt case would be the best fit for the Mag 340.

Re: Soft case for Mag 340
Thank you very much to all replies. I do like the idea of the takedown case, it would free up a lot of space. Although I do prefer to leave it assembled because I do have the room, and then it's also ready to go immediately.
I do like the extra storage pockets on the OMP case, but prefer to stay with the Excalibur brand products.
It does look like the crypt case is the "designated" case specifically for the micro line up. I think that is what I'm going to order.
Thanks again for all input. Can't wait for the opener! September 1 here in beautiful British Columbia.

I too use the Savior American Classic, which is a double padded tactical case. Fits a Micro 355 and all accessories like Hatchet said.
