Today’s crossbows are faster than ever before. Faster crossbows can deliver more downrange energy.
Optimizing length can provide better balance while shorter crossbows can be better suited for maneuverability and tight spaces.
The weight shown on the left is the overall weight without accessories installed, while the weight on the right is the weight with all included accessories installed.
Draw effort is the weight of resistance while cocking a crossbow. Most crossbows require minimal effort to draw with a cocking aid.
Modern crossbows are drawn back with a cocking aid. Excalibur crossbows use attachable cranks, integrated cranks, and rope cockers to achieve as little as 12 lbs of draw effort.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the Suppressor 400 TD™ takes our Micro platform to a whole new level with the addition of the all-new High-Output Express Limbs with Armor Tips, allowing this crossbow to reach never-before-seen Micro speeds of 400 FPS. Due to its aluminum riser, mainframe, and trigger housing construction, you can rest assured that the Suppressor 400 TD will stand up to your hunt’s most extreme conditions.
One of the best crossbows ever made. I bought in 2020 and had one hunt at 23 yards and a ram at 90 yards. Very accurate and powerful. My only problem is using broadheads to adjust the collision point compared to the field points.
I have wanted this bow to replace my older Equinox , which is probably their best bow ever and am very pleased . Small , light and quick . Very manueverable and accurate . Just what I wanted

I have shot a lot of crossbow and this is one of my favourites. It is a great feeling bow that is compact and quiet. You cant shoot at the same target or you will wreck your arrows. The added cranking device is such a great add on! Makes cranking the bow so easy!
This is my third Excalibur crossbow over the past twenty-five years. The Suppressor 400TD is the best yet. I really like its take-down capability which makes it easy to transport and store. I bought the take-down storage bag at the same time and the whole package is superb. The crossbow is zeroed right out of the box however, I chose to go with slightly heavier mechanical broad head and re-calibrated everything myself. It was very easy to do. As a whitetail hunter who hunts in forested areas, in the end you have to be able to trust your equipment to be robust and consistent. So far, the Suppressor 400TD has performed extremely well.
Absolutely incredible crossbow. I have consistently hit bullseye's past 50 yards. I took my deer just a few days ago using 150 grain Excalibur Bolt Cutter broadheads on the quill bolts. Total weight of 405 grains. I took the deer at 80 yards with a through and through double lung shot. The bolt embedded itself in the dirt about 10 yards past the deer after going through. No issues with accuracy or penetration. Everyone says you shouldn't shoot past 40 to 50 yards, with the kinetic energy this unit sends downfield and the accuracy of the Tact 100 scope there are no issues with ethical kill shots at 80 yards on White Tail Deer so long as you can confidently place your shot. The bow is more than capable if you are. I could not be happier with my purchase. The quality is top notch and the take down system is always 100% on the money when put back into shooting mode. Top marks to Excalibur on the Suppressor 400 TD
