Warranty Policy and Disclaimer
Excalibur crossbows carry a lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects. Warranty will be given at Excalibur’s discretion, for the lifetime of the original owner of the crossbow. Registration of your crossbow is required. If you haven’t registered your crossbow, what better time than now: REGISTER MY CROSSBOW NOW.
If you received an item with a suspected issue, please contact Excalibur customer service for a resolution. For a quick diagnosis visit our Customer Support page on our website: CUSTOMER SUPPORT PAGE or send an email to the address listed below with a photo and explanation of the suspected fault.
All returns for warranty consideration must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number assigned. The RMA number must be indicated on the packaging or the package may be refused. RMA numbers will expire after 30 days if product has not been received within the defined timeline. Shipping costs for sending any item to Excalibur Crossbow for warranty consideration will be the responsibility of the sender. All shipping and handling costs for returning repaired or replaced product to the owner will be at Excalibur Crossbow’s expense.
If an expedited method is requested for returning warranted product the additional costs will be at the owner’s expense.
Excalibur Crossbow will not warrant damage as a result of misuse or abuse. All costs associated with any repairs required to products due to the result of abuse will be the responsibility of the owner.
AFTERMARKET COMPONENTS
All modifications to any part of your Excalibur Crossbow product will be at your own risk. Any alteration or substitution of components on an Excalibur Crossbow product will VOID warranty.
ITEMS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY
Some Excalibur Crossbow accessories may not be covered under warranty unless the failure was deemed a manufacturing defect as determined by Excalibur Crossbow. Any products shot out of the crossbow or categorized as normal wear items, will not be covered under warranty.
Examples of typical items not covered under warranty:
- Arrows lost or broken after being shot
- Damaged broadheads or field points that have been shot
- Worn string
- Worn rope cocking aid
- Worn stringing aid
- Worn C2 crank cocking aid rope
- Worn dissipator pads
- Fasteners stripped by owner
- Arrow inserts coming out of arrow shaft after being lodged in a target
- Arrow fletching damaged after being shot
- Damage to mainframe due to improper use of cocking devices
- Worn S5/R.E.D.S. suppression pads
- Items damaged by user abuse
Hybrid X
LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE
Subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, Excalibur Crossbow provides a non-transferrable limited lifetime warranty for the Hybrid X against defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal use and that negatively affect its performance for the original owner. This limited warranty extends only to you, the first purchaser, and is subject to the following terms, conditions, and limitations.
Conditions & Terms
- Registration Requirement: To activate this limited warranty, the crossbow must be registered within sixty (60) days of purchase. If you have not registered yet, you can do so here: EXCALIBURCROSSBOW.COM/REGISTER-YOUR-BOW
- Non-Transferable: This limited warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable.
- Six-Year Coverage Period for Certain Components: Crossbow Limbs, Cocking Device, and Scope are covered against defects in material and workmanship that occur under normal use for a period of six (6) years from the date of purchase. Extended Coverage Option: For an additional $199.99, coverage on Crossbow Limbs, Cocking Device, and Scope can be extended for four (4) additional years (for a total of ten years of coverage from the date of purchase). This option must be purchased at the time of registration or within sixty (60) days of the original purchase date and applies only to the original owner.
- Parts and Components Not Covered: This limited warranty does not cover strings, cables, arrows, or arrow rest.
Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Misuse or Abuse: Any damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper handling, failure to perform normal maintenance, or using non-recommended arrows.
- Failure to Follow the Manual: Any damage caused by not reading and following the user instructions and the safety advice in the manual.
- Modification and Use of Aftermarket Parts: Any modification, addition, or substitution of components, including aftermarket parts, will void the warranty. Use of replacement parts not approved by Excalibur Crossbow will void your warranty.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Damage due to the normal wear and tear (including, but not limited to, the strings and cables) or products shot out of the crossbow.
- Cosmetic Damage: Damage to cosmetic finishes that does not impact the performance of the crossbow.
- User Error: Damage due to user error, including, but not limited to, damage caused by dry-firing, incorrect or improperly seated/misaligned nocks, or using inappropriate arrows or arrows below the minimum weight requirements for the crossbow.

2. Alternatively, send an email to [email protected] with a description of
the issue and a clear photo of the defect.
If you need to return the crossbow for warranty consideration, an RMA (Return
Merchandise Authorization) number is required. Please follow these steps:
• Contact Excalibur Customer Service to obtain an RMA number and the correct address for
shipping.
• Clearly mark the RMA number on the packaging to avoid refusal.
• Products must be returned within 30 days of receiving the RMA number. After this period,
the RMA will expire.

SHIPPING AND COSTS
• Return Shipping: The cost of shipping the item to Excalibur Crossbow for warranty
consideration is the responsibility of the sender.
• Return of Repaired/Replaced Products: Excalibur Crossbow will cover all shipping and
handling costs for returning the repaired or replaced product to the owner.
• Expedited Shipping: If an expedited shipping method is requested for the return, the
additional costs will be the responsibility of the owner.
LIMITED WARRANTY DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY MADE BY EXCALIBUR CROSSBOW AND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Excalibur Crossbow makes no other warranties, express or implied.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EXCALIBUR CROSSBOW EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL STATUTORY AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND THE WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IF SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER THE LAW, eXCALIBUR CROSSBOW LIMITS THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF SUCH WARRANTIES TO THE DURATION AND REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
IT IS AGREED THAT EXCALIBUR CROSSBOW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY BREACH OF THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY and regardless of a failure of any remedy of its essential purpose. to the extent permitted by law, the exclusive remedy against excalibur crossbow for any and all claims, losses, injuries, or damages arising out of or related to the terms of this warranty shall not exceed the price paid for the crossbow.
you have 12 months from the accrual of the cause of action to commence any legal action arising from the purchase or use of your crossbow.
To the extent any provision of this limited warranty is found to contravene the law of any jurisdiction, the remainder of the warranty shall not be affected thereby.
